With the weather getting warmer two things are a given: 1) ice cream, and 2) the sad glare of puppy dog eyes while you eat your ice cream. Treat your dog to delicious, refreshing and natural DIY froyo pops that you can make from the comforts of your city dwelling with simple ingredients you can pick up on your next grocery run.
What you’ll need for one small batch of froyo pops:
- 2 cups all natural, unsweetened, plain yogurt of your choosing (just make sure its 100% plain, unsweetened with no additives that could hurt your puppy’s tummy)
- 5 tablespoons of whatever flavour you would like your pops to be: bananas, peanut butter (xylitol free!), fresh blueberries or strawberries, unsweetened pumpkin puree are just some examples
- Ice cube tray or any freezer safe mold of your choosing (silicone is best for easy removal)
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender.
Pour yogurt mixture into your molds and let set in the freezer for at least 2.5 hours or until solid.
Your pops are now ready to be shared with your fave nose-licking loved one!
Please feed your pet responsibly. We recommend one froyo pop daily.
